| HISTORY:
Bardolino lies on the eastern side of Lake Garda, 30 Km from Verona, facing the lake to the west and behind lie the hills of the Adige Valley, at the beginning of the Padana Plain.
The area of the Comune is 5428 hectares of which around 1574 hectares are land and 3836 are lake. The administrative boundaries are to the north Garda, to the east Costermano, Affi, Cavion and Pastrengo, to the south Lazise and to the west is the province of Brescia. The town is 65 metres above sea level.
The Comune of Bardolino is enjoys a predominantly tourism based economy, supported by wine production. The town takes it’s name from the noted local wine for which the area is famous.

Very old traditional ‘Sagra dei Osei and Cisano’ (September). The lake and the hills are ideal for outdoor activities and sport. Bardolino hosts the most important triathlon event in Italy.
